Grape Stomp 2010

September 11-12, 2010
The winery comes alive with excitement in September. Come join us as we celebrate the harvest of the grapes. Everyone is welcome!

The hours of the Grape Stomp are 11-6 each day. Stage stomping events are held every half hour beginning at noon.
Bring your cameras, lawn chairs, and make some fun memories!

There is a $3 charge for adults and a $2 charge for ages 7-21 (children age 6 and under are free). This includes entry into the wine tasting tent, the Artisan MarketPlace and the stomping show with its guest emcees.

Our guest emcee on Saturday will be BT from the Cities 97 morning crew and Greg McKush will be playing during breaks. On Sunday we'll have Pete Hackett as Larry the Cable Guy. In our Artisan MarketPlace we will have Organic Valley cheese and meat samples, other great food, art, flowers, jewelry, local flowers and produce and lots of vendors. We'll also be offering a Grape Stomp special wine discount at this event. Think of it as a Napa wine festival...only in Minnesota.

When You Come...

Except for service animals, pets are not admitted in the vineyard and cannot be left in your vehicle. Please make alternate arrangements for your pets.

WASTE NOT, WANT NOT (A "FOOT" NOTE)

While not a purely organic farm, the Crofut Winery does maintain a compost pile where we dispose of all organic remains from the wine-making process. The compost makes a wonderful fertilizer for our vines each spring. We should also mention that all grapes and juice from our annual Grape Stomp harvest festival go into the compost pile at day's end. The grapes you stomp DO contribute to future wines, but no feet are used in our actual wine-making process.
